Children’s Books that Engage, Entertain, and Educate

Why I Create Nature Stories

“My love of wildlife began as a small child, exploring the wilderness of an untamed garden in Dorset, catching minnows in jam jars on the River Frome, climbing trees, and building homes for woodlice in my grandparents’ garden.

“Adult life disconnected me from the natural world. A chance encounter with the bees, small moments in nature—watching, wondering, and caring.

“Through my children’s books, I hope to inspire a curiosity and compassion for nature in children everywhere.”
